Safety and Compliance
Playing is a serious matter
To ensure the safety of all our toys, we follow the procedures required by the European Directive 2009/48/EC in order to obtain CE marking and the related Declaration of Conformity.
The key requirements are the followings:
Design the toy according to its intended purpose and the age of the users (all products suitable for children under the age of 14 are considered toys).
Assess risks and produce technical documentation (also called technical file) that includes data regarding materials and production steps.
Perform EN 71 tests (vary according to the specific product): they assess the physical and chemical requirements and the compliance of the toy according to the European REACH Regulation. Only after passing all these steps the toy is declared safe.
